I recently had one of the most exciting and hardest hunts in my life. I went to the Full Fan Lodge with a buddy who I hunt with regularly to hunt fall turkey. We have heard that if you never turkey hunted before that this should be the hunt to start with as you will see plenty of birds and probably get a shot. Well, we saw plenty of birds, lots of beautiful Pennsylvania countryside and we did each shoot a turkey. I cannot say enough about how hard Brian, Roger and all of the people at the lodge worked to ensure that we had every opportunity to have a successful hunt. We were positioned on birds roosting every day and if you have never heard the �songs� of the turkey�s after the flock is broken up and they are getting back together you should contact Brian at the Lodge and set up a trip. I just wanted to watch and listen as you could actually see the birds zero in on the calls from our guide, then instinct kicked in and we were filling out a turkey tag. I had a great experience and if you want to get a turkey, these guys will give you the chance. We also saw plenty of deer, squirrels, grouse, rabbits, pheasants and even a coyote. We were so pleased with the amount of game that we saw and the genuine concern that we filled our tag that we booked a spring trip and fall trip next year. Great Hunting!
