I too am a New Yorker who travels to PA. To deer hunt. In response to your comments on the PA antler restrictions, I say "let's wait and see what happens." I cannot predict what will happen to the deer populations, nor can you. I can tell you that if this thing plays out like it did in my home county where over 20,000 doe permits were issued for the last three years, you will be lucky to see a buck, thereby making you 8-pointer just as rare and special as before. Gotta go.
